Here at Iron Mountain Arts we believe in using recycled, sustainable materials, environmentally safe processes, and giving back to the community that inspires us. When you purchase a piece from us, not only do you receive a high-quality piece of art but you help our protect our environment for future generations. Thank you so very much for allowing me to continue creating. Each piece comes from my heart and was made with the desire to create it.
Production times vary on my work volume (I really do work full time :) ) and the average number of orders that I have to create. Please bear in mind that each piece is custom-made and I am a single-person business. Current production times can run between 1-3 business weeks depending on order volume but I do try to create your pieces in a timely manner without sacrificing the quality of the jewelry. If you need an order expedited for a special date please let me know! (Updated December 2023).
Please be advised that we are not responsible for items lost in the mail. Shipping insurance is available upon request (automatically included up to $50 via Priority Mail).
Silver and copper may cause skin reactions depending on temperature, body chemistry, diet, medication, etc. Please see my FAQ section for more information and what to do if you are among those who experience reactions.
Ring sizing is done via a combination of manual calculations and a Durston PrecisionFit™ Aluminum Ring Stick for sizes 1–16 and manual calculation for sizes 16 1/4 - 24.
Returns are not accepted on custom orders, made to order items, or clearance items. All other items may be returned or exchanged.
If you don't see something here that grabs your fancy take a visit to my sister's shop at https://www.etsy.com/shop/InclusionsArts for some spectacular metal and enamel work!

5 out of 5 starsBeautiful ring. Fits a bit more snug than I expected, even though I used a ring sizer. But still very fine craftsmanship.

I'm glad that you like the ring! Try turning it around - I try to make one side a tad wider than the other since fingers tend to swell and shrink with weather, medicine, activity, etc. If that doesn't help just holler at me and I can widen it a skosh for you :)

5 out of 5 starsBeautiful and exactly what I wanted. I did have to get my order size changed because I originally ordered a large size which wasn’t going to fit, but Leslie had no problem with it and she was on it right away and she even confirmed that they would fit the way I wanted. I have severe carpal tunnel and neuropathy in my hands and the copper does actually help reduce my constant pain. I plan on wearing them 24/7. Thank you Leslie!!

5 out of 5 starsHand crafted per order!! Not something I was aware of when I placed the order. Waiting a couple extra days for a handmade ring is so worth it! The little shipping packet was so cute too with a note, ring box and candy. Definitely recommend

Frequently asked questions
Why is there a possible variation in color or texture?
Please remember that if a piece is listed as a multiple each piece is still custom made and if textured, antiqued, flame-painted or patinaed may vary a little in color and texture. Temperature and humidity do affect reactions of different metals and some beads and stones have natural variations. Colors may vary slightly from monitor to monitor as well.
What if the spinner on my ring becomes snug during shipping?
If you experience difficulty with the spinners on this or any spinner ring - mine or a different one - please be aware that there is a possibility that the shipping process *may* set the spinners out of kilter a tad. All items are packed with care, however if you ever do experience this try the following:
1. Place your spinner ring on a firm item that will fit snugly inside the ring.
2. Take the blunt edge of a table or butter knife & wrap a paper towel around it a couple of times to prevent marring the surface of the silver.
3. Gently tap along the culprit spinner in the same manner as if loosening the lid of a tight jar.
4. Repeat the process until the spinner loosens, or until it spins at your ease.
What if I'm not comfortable adjusting my spinner tightness?
If you have a snug spinner for any reason and have ordered it from me I will happily re-adjust it for you.
Can my jewelry be re-polished if the bright polish dulls?
All jewelry tarnishes with time and wear. Polishing at home will keep the tarnish off, however if you have purchased a piece from me which has a deep, bright polish and would like it re-polished I would be happy to help you keep your jewelry looking beautiful.
How can I keep my skin from turning green when I wear copper?
If your skin turns green when wearing copper then you need to place a barrier between your skin and the metal. Depending on the piece you can rub the inside with a micro-crystalline wax such as Renaissance wax, paint the contact surface with a couple of coats of clear nail polish or clear enamel paint or spray (I use Krylon for my copper-sensitive clients). If you have a copper cuff try adding a leather lining with a contact cement or epoxy.
Can 925 Sterling or Argentium Sterling Silver turn your finger green or other colors?
Yes. It is very rare, but it can happen. Sterling silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% by mass of silver and 7.5% by mass of other metals, usually copper, or germanium for argentium silver. There can be quite a bit of variance from manufacturer to manufacturer in that other 7.5% and that is why one sterling silver ring may cause a reaction while another does not. When sterling silver tarnishes, the jewelry turns black, which can then rub off on skin and cause black discoloration. People with moist skin may also notice green discoloration. The green finger discoloration is a reaction to the copper alloy in the sterling silver, especially if you have body acidity is higher due to medication, diet, etc.
How to stop finger from turning green when wearing silver
Soaking the ring for a day or two in a 50/50 mixture of household ammonia and water will take care of the problem.
Another solution is to simply clean the ring every day with a silver polishing cloth . After about a week or two, the reaction will stop occurring
Applying a layer of Jeweler's Skin Guard (which we can provide for you) on the inside of the ring will prevent perspiration & body sweat from reaching the metal and reacting to it. Clear nail polish will also work.
Keep your skin dry when wearing jewelry. Remove ring before showering, sleeping, exercising, strenuous activities, or using cleaning products.
Keep your jewelry clean. If the piece begins to tarnish, clean it immediately.

What do you mean by "Gold Filled"?
Jewelers create gold filled jewelry by pressure bonding an actual layer of gold to another metal. Although a gold filled piece of jewelry is not sold gold, it has the same desirable properties and look of solid gold. Filled jewelry has about 97% more gold than plated jewelry.
It won’t tarnish and will not rub off or turn colors. Wearers who are sensitive to certain metals can wear gold filled without worries of an allergic reaction. Although the layer of gold in gold filled pieces varies depending on the manufacturer it is in all cases significantly thicker than regular gold plating (the next category of gold jewelry). Gold filled accessories can be worn even daily without fear of fading or rubbing off for many cases as long as 30 years.
What is the current production time?
Production times vary on my work volume (I really do work full time :) ) and the average number of orders that I have to create. Please remember that each piece is custom-made. Iron Mountain Arts was impacted by the winter conditions from 2/14-2/20. We were without power, water, and internet during that time and were unable to work on any orders. 1 have started production again but due to the backlog and unusual order volume production is running between 2-4 business weeks. Please be patient and I will get each order created as soon as humanly possible. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this chaotic time!
